Dear Fibro Friends,
1. There's a new page on my FMS/CFIDS
site about ADRENAL
INSUFFICIENCY - see www.fms-help.com/adrenal.htm - It explains the sometimes baffling symptoms we experience, such as
feeling overexcited when we need to rest and sleep, but tired and weak when we
need to function. This is the "signature" of a condition called
hypoadrenia.
2. Below is an email I
received today about EPSOM SALT
BATHS that some may find helpful. In my 100 Tips
for Coping with Fibromyalgia and Insomnia, tip #48 at www.fms-help.com/tips4.htm is about
Epsom Salt baths. Here's the email:
This is great news! I knew all along that epsom sat baths were
the key
to helping FM patients. Here is the proof! Hydrotherapy, for those
who
don't know, is just water therapy. You don't need to go to a Spa to
get
the results of their very nice and therapeutic baths. Two cups of
epsom
salt in water as hot as you can take for 20 minutes is one of the
best
treatments for us. Epsom salts contain magnesium, which is a
great
muscle relaxer. Also, epsom salt releases the built up toxins in
our
bodies. How do you know if you need to release toxins? Look at
your
skin, does it have a red tint to it, does it look flushed all over?
You
definitely need an epsom salt bath! No need to go get expensive
dead
sea salt, just plain old epsom will do the trick. To detox, do
this
bath everyday for seven days, then one less day each week until you
do
it once a week for a month, then as needed.
Peace and
Blessings,
Wendi White, The Fibromyalgia Wellness Institute
Well, that's all for now. I am not able
to answer email, but I do read everything you send my way. I hope you are
doing well. I am finally beginning to recover from an upper respiratory
virus I caught several months ago. Have been staying busy with piano
students and church music. Also, I am very happy that my cousin from China
will be coming to the U.S. on business and will be able to visit us on Easter
Sunday!
