LABC School of Music
Fall Recital - October 16, 2009
In September 2006, Lake Asbury Baptist Church, 2674 Henley Road, Green Cove Springs, Florida established the LABC School of Music. Students of all ages have been learning to play the piano, guitar or sing. Our first recital was held on October 14, 2006 - it was a wonderful occasion! Since then, we have had many more recitals in the fall and spring annually. The goal of the LABC School of Music is to educate and train aspiring musicians to serve the Lord with their music.
Mrs. Dominie Bush, instructor, has been a church pianist/organist for 26 years. Mrs. Bush graduated from UCLA in 1971 (B.A., psychology) and studied Bible and Christian Education at Elim Bible Institute in New York. Mrs. Bush began teaching music in 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida and became a full-time music educator in 1993.
Mr. Rick Wyman, administrator, is a youth Sunday School teacher and former high school teacher. He is retired from the U.S. Navy.
