Dominie's FMS/CFIDS Newsletters
Fibromyalgia (FMS), Chronic Fatigue & Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS), and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) are painful, frustrating, disabling and life-altering "invisible" illnesses that are highly misunderstood by our society. We are often perceived as hypochondriacs or malingerers, because we don't LOOK sick. FMS/CFIDS affects men, women, teenagers and even children. In addition to the physical suffering, it wreaks havoc in family life, relationships, career and finances. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1982 and CFIDS in 1987. I have had insomnia since age 16. I began writing a compassionate, Christian-based newsletter in 1996. After 17 years, I was no longer able to write the weekly newsletter due to time, energy, and financial constraints, but all of the back issues (April 2003 to October 2013) are available on my site. Use the search box at the top of my homepage. Type in the word "newsletter" and a topic you are interested in. You will find lots of emotional support and information that is still relevant today.
