Dear Fibro Friends,

I had a computer crash last week and had to replace the hard drive.  I lost 1,500 health files that I used to write newsletters.  UGH!   I thought I had them backed up on Mozy, but I configured it incorrectly...duh!  So, if you have any newsletters that I sent out from Nov. 1 through Dec. 8, I would greatly appreciate it if you would forward them to me at dombush@bellsouth.net (MY NEW EMAIL ADDRESS).  I plan to put them on my website to keep them safe (......from ME!)

If you are having the Christmas blues, see my page at www.fms-help.com/Christmas.htm.  I loved singing in our church's beautiful Christmas cantata last week (despite my ongoing lung and breathing problems from working in a moldy environment a year ago).  Singing in this program helped me focus on the real meaning of Christmas - and how incredible it is!  However, most of us struggle with dysfunctional family members and relationships during the Christmas season, when we would much prefer it to be a time of love, joy and peace!  A good book I read recently about handling difficult people is "Foolproofing Your Life" by Jan Silvious.

Speaking of books, another great one I read this year was "90 Minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper, the true story of a pastor who was killed in a car accident and came back to life after being dead for an hour and a half.  It helped me so much in the loss of my dad, from which I was still grieving.  I was even able to get off the antidepressants!

Thanks for all you have meant to me this past year.  I have learned so much from you, my wonderful readers!  May God bless and encourage you.  We can rejoice in our wonderful Savior this season, even if in nothing else!

From my heart,

Dominie Bush
