The most vital (and fortunately the most abundant) element on earth is oxygen. Without it, life as we know it could not exist. Humans have been known to live for weeks without water, and for months without food. Without oxygen, however, life would only continue for a matter of moments. Of all the elements comprising the human body, only oxygen needs to be replaced on a second-to-second and minute-by-minute basis for life to continue. Approximately 90% of the body's "life energy" is created by oxygen, and 100% of all functions of the body are regulated by it.
The earth's supply of oxygen appears to have been in a state of decline from the beginning, and researchers have concluded that the oxygen in our atmosphere today is as much as one-third less than in ancient times. In just the 230 years since our nation began, it is estimated that we have lost 11% of our global oxygen. And frighteningly, the most recent scientific analysis reveals that the oxygen content in the air continues to decline, at an accelerated rate. It is especially low in larger cities.
There are three primary reasons for the problem: (a) carbon emissions
produced by the burning of fossil fuels, (b) global pollution, and (c) the
rampant destruction of trees and rainforests. Our civilization's combined
technologies consume nearly 20 times the amount of oxygen than would normally be
extracted by five billion breathing humans.
Combustion of carbons and
hydrocarbon fuels bind up awesome amounts of free oxygen into carbon dioxide,
and incomplete combustion ties up still more carbon monoxide, which itself
appropriates additional oxygen to become more stable as carbon dioxide.
At the same time, the earth's oxygen-producing
woods and rainforests have shrunk to the smallest size in recorded history.
Without ample trees, rainforests, plankton (microscopic aquatic plants), and
grasses, photosynthesis (the process by which plants take in carbon dioxide and
release oxygen) is seriously impaired.
Because of this depletion of our
natural resources, less oxygen is being released back into the air, and less
carbon dioxide is being absorbed and broken down.
Because the oxygen concentration in a truly healthy human body is approximately three times that of air, today's low oxygen content puts tremendous stress on the human body as it labors to obtain all of the oxygen required to function properly. As oxygen levels in the body are reduced, the body's immune system begins to weaken, cell performance is impaired, and we become vulnerable to disease and other symptoms of oxygen deprivation. There is no question about the relationship between oxygen deficiency and disease.
As Dr. W. Spencer Way writes in the Journal of the American Association of Physicians, "Insufficient oxygen means insufficient biological energy that can result in anything from mild fatigue to life-threatening disease. The link between insufficient oxygen and disease has now been firmly established." According to Dr. Arthur Guyton, M.D., "All chronic suffering is caused from a lack of oxygen at the cell level." His statement is echoed by Dr. Parris Kid, PhD, who states, "We can look at oxygen deficiency as the single greatest cause of all disease."
In a publication entitled Oxygen Deficiency; A Concomitant to all Degenerative Diseases, by Dr. Stephen Levine, renowned Molecular Biologist, he states, "In all serious disease states we find a concomitant low oxygen state. Low oxygen in the tissues is a sure indicator for disease. Hypoxia, or lack of oxygen in the tissues, is the fundamental cause of all degenerative disease."
Dr. Otto Warburg, recipient of two Nobel prizes in Medicine,
referred to oxygen as "A vital cell detoxifier", and pointed to oxygen
deficiency as the underlying cause of cancer and other degenerative diseases,
and ultimately the death of the cell. He is quoted as saying, "Cancer has only
one prime cause. It is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of the
body's cells by an anaerobic (i.e. oxygen-deficient) cell respiration."
This was verified by Philip Isely, proponent of the Phytoplankton
Project for restoring oxygen to the world, when he said, "There is growing
evidence that cancer and other degenerative diseases are partly the result of
the earth's diminishing oxygen levels."
Scientist like Dr. Way and many others now believe that the initial symptoms of "oxygen deprivation" - which in actuality constitutes the gradual oxygen starvation of the body's seven trillion cells - include the following: *Premature aging; *Overall bodily weakness; *Muscle aches; *Anxiety, depression and stress; *Dizziness; *Irritability: *Fatigue; *Memory loss; *Irrational behavior; *Chronic hostility; *Circulation problems; *Poor digestion; *Acid stomach; *Lowered immunity to colds and flu; *Bronchial problems; *Tumors and deposit buildups; *Various bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic infections, and more.
Conversely, oxygen is the vital factor which gives our body the oxidizing "firepower" it requires to resist microorganisms and repel disease (most infectious agents simply cannot live in an oxygen-rich environment) and liberate the energy which facilitates life. It also helps our bodies to breathe more easily.
There are numerous ways to encourage and introduce more oxygen
into our bloodstream, from brisk walking in an oxygen-rich environment like the
seashore or woods, deep, fuller breathing several times daily, ozone, whether by
air or water administration, Hydrogen Peroxide, and some supplements like
mineral salt compounds.
However, the safest and most effective way to
increase the oxygen levels is the use of Stabilized Oxygen
drops, a super-oxygenation technology that offers a promising solution
to this universal problem of oxygen deprivation. Supplemental stabilized oxygen
drops makes pure oxygen available to be absorbed into the bloodstream where it
is carried directly to the body's cells and tissues."
